Contemporary Fine Art textiles and photography
Artist
Lesley Bricknell originally studied on a broad based Textiles course at
Goldsmiths, London. This has continued to inform subsequent visual
work in particular
photography. At times divergent there is a rich cross over between
these practices. Materials used are often inconsequential, cast offs,
detritus, bits and
pieces. The 'coolness' of
photography is offset by the physicality of working with materials.
